COPING WITH STRESS AND FLASHBACKS

A Wellbeing and Coping Strategies Program was developed by Michael C. Irving, Ph.D. over thousands of sessions in working with survivors of child abuse. In the making of the Monument Dr. Irving worked with the studio workshop team to adapt his Wellbeing and Coping Strategies Program into resource material and support activities that would be helpful to participating survivors.

Some of that material is presented here. We encourage you to use any of these activities that assist with your own self help.

These lists can be printed off the Internet for personal use. Even more valuable is to download the lists into a text file and rework them so they are individualized to your needs and personal lifestyle. You are free to make copies of these strategy lists and give them to a friend or one of your support people.
