Book IV: After the Flood
Chapter III: Ring the Bell Tower
|
Strength
Out of my pain, my tears, my fears
As a baby, child
There is nothing, nothing but nowhere and
Neglect.
With heaviness of heart
I stand alone
I stand strong.
Together the whole -
The good, the bad, and the ugly
Determined to risk
Determined to dare
Connected
Body, soul, spirit to
The child -
The woman to be.
