Book II: Embrace My Innocence
Chapter II: Stolen Trust Shattered Dreams

They Believed Her

Once upon a time, there was a little girl. One day her father came to her when she was alone and did something to her body. Over time he did it 2 or 3 more times. Then she discovered what it was called and knew it was terribly wrong for him to be doing to her. But how could she tell her mother? It had been done. More than once. It would be her fault. She would lose her mother’s love. So the little girl said nothing. She lived with the loneliness and fear that someone would discover her terrible secret. And it went on.

Then one day many years later, her parents come to her to say that they were going to live apart. Her father said he wanted her to live with him. And she said “NO!”

She told her mother and the world her secret. And they believed her. And they still love her. And to this day she still works on happily ever after.
