Book II: Embrace My Innocence
Chapter II: Stolen Trust Shattered Dreams

Why?

Robbem me of my childhood,
Your evil cruel ways.
Taught me pain and terror,
Just one hateful gaze.

Stole what you
Should have cherished,
Innocence of youth,
Left me shamed and
Quaking,
The terror of your wrath.

Why did you hate
Me so,
To cause such
Horrible grief,
Am I really such
An awful child
For you to
Steal like a thief.
