Book IV: After the Flood
Chapter V: Reaching Out to Smooth and Polish

Compassion in Love

Self -acceptance through a lifetime
Cells vibrating in contained identity
Grief pushing the walls of pain
Owning my sorrows of being lost

Finding strength in each fiber
To scream the truth of others
To let vitality take place
To stand on guard
To help others

Through me, in me, and out of me.

In action, I live
True, I choose to express myself

To love through compassion or
To be loving compassion or
Again to love with compassion
Honoring each part of me

The whole me
Stretching to be me.
