Book II: Embrace My Innocence
Chapter II:

Holding

Holding means many things.

Holding feelings.
Having feelings.
Witnessing feelings.
Healing.

Holding includes touching.
Gentle touch.
Physical touch.
Health touch.
Choice and voice.

Holding hands.
Holding my own hand.
Taking care of myself. Caressing.
Being loving and gentle with myself.
Knowing my strength.

Trusting. Trustworthy.
Trust others and myself.
Can I trust myself?
Am I safe?

Is it possible to hold myself together?

I want to hold my sadness, my fears, my anger
And that possibility of living life,
Freely, sexually, healthily, without shame.
Believing in myself.

J.
