Book III: To Break the Silence
Chapter II: Another Lonely Sunrise

The Little Girl

The little girl all alone,
Alone with her secrets,
Scared to speak or even feel.
She only sees the emptiness
That surrounds her heart,
And the secret she wishes
to be able to speak.

“Please, Love me!”

But now she sees a hand,
A hand of the future,
One full of caring laughter,
And love.
It’s her hand, and she
is Not Alone!
