REFLECTION

Reflecting back
I only wish you had a hand,
A hand as strong as
The ones before me.

I realize then
That it is my hand I see.

A hand full of hope, love
And acceptance.

A hand willing
To live a life or lend itself

And understand that maybe
Now you can be free.
