Viewing a Bronze “Reaching Out”
Monument Figure

The first bronze figure of the “Reaching Out” Child Abuse Monument is completed. While fundraising and foundry work on the second figure takes place the first figure will be available for viewing, exhibits and touring. We hope you can have an opportunity to view this remarkable work.

• Where: 274 Rhodes Ave., Toronto.
• When: Best viewed during daylight hours
• Comment: The artist may or may not be home -- enjoy your viewing. The sculpture is approachable from the street.

Directions to Dr. Irving’s home studio:

• From the 401
  • Take Don Valley Parkway to Don Mills Ave.
  • Go South on Don Mills Ave. to O'Connor Ave.
  • Turn Left on O'Connor to Coxwell Ave.
  • Turn Right onto Coxwell Ave. and go South until you go under a train bridge.
  • At the first light after bridge turn Right on Fairford.
  • Turn Left on Rhodes.
  • One block down you can not miss the large monument sculpture in the drive -- 274 Rhodes Ave.
• From the QEW
  • Go East to the end of the QEW and Lakeshore.
  • Turn Left onto Coxwell Ave. (at Ashbridges Bay)
  • Go North on Coxwell Ave. to Fairford.
  • Turn Left onto Fairford.
  • Turn Left on Rhodes.
  • One block down you can not miss the large monument sculpture in the drive -- 274 Rhodes Ave.

NOTE: Rhodes Ave. is in the heart of the largest East Indian Shopping Community in North America. If you like spicy food you have found heaven. We highly recommend Sidartha at the North West Corner of Craven and Gerrard St.-- an all you can eat buffet where you can choose by sight food you may not know the name of.
