Bronze is a classic
art material that has persevered as a primary sculpting
medium through the ages. My sculptures are most often
purchased in bronze. Casting models may be created in
wax, clay, resin, plaster, stone or a combination of these
materials.
When the first piece in a limited edition is sculpted
in stone, a mold is made from the stone for the bronze
casting process.
Large monumental works are
in the background of my creative thoughts and urges while
sculpting my smaller works. Generally several of the pieces
in any edition are reserved for enlargement to larger
works. This increases the value and importance of each
piece in the edition regardless of the size of the piece.
