The focus will be on reviewing personal coping strategies and creating four types of coping lists that you can take with you and use on a regular basis for well being and quality of life. Mindfulness practice can assist you in reducing avoidance and numbing, depression, anxiety and PTSD symptoms. This workshop is based on the mindfulness stress management approaches that have been known throughout the ages and have been popularized by the work of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre in Boston.
